Robert L. Swartz grew up in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas and graduated high school from Tulsa Memorial High School in 1983. After high school he attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 1988 with a degree in Business Administration while majoring in finance.

After a short career as a pilot, he decided to attend law school and enrolled at the University of Oklahoma School of Law where he graduated with honors in 1997.

He spent seven years as a prosecutor in Texas County and Oklahoma County before going into private practice in 2005. It is this experience as a prosecutor that givees him the unique insight into the inner workings of the District Attorney's Office which gives his clients an important advantage when negotiating a favorable plea or preparing for trial.

Communication is the key to any good relationship and our clients will come to understand that they will have exceptional access to their attorney and phone calls are returned promptly. Anything less is unacceptable and should not be tolerated by a client who has his liberty and at times his life at stake.

Mr. Swartz is licensed to practice in State, Federal, and City Courts throughout the state. With years of experience trying cases while a state prosecutor he gained a level of competence based on experience and hard work that is difficult to achieve for most attorneys. Further, there are many attorneys who practice criminal law but lack the ability, knowledge and desire to actually take a case to trial. Though trial is often the least desirable course of action, it is often unavoidable and we pride ourselves on the ability to outwork and outthink opposing counsel.
